Their customer service SUCKS! The next day delivery system SUCKS MORE THAN THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Placed an order for next day delivery two days ago and am still waiting...called the customer service # and they directed me to call the store that is processing the order. Called the store and they directed me to call customer service. Had I known it would be this difficult, I would have picked it up at the store or just opted for regular delivery. No one has any idea where my package is... So annoying!
Absolutely garbage, don't EVER shop there, I paid 200DKK for 2 funkopops that never came because the shops had to "close down" in Denmark.
I then spoke with someone called Carsten and he said he'd get back to me once he gets a hold of someone, he never did, neither did I ever get my money back...
If I could sue them or file a chargeback I would.
Like a previous reviewer, I would leave 0 stars if possible. My son ordered a controller the first week of May. It was supposed to be at our house on May 8. I called about a week or so ago to check on the controller's shipping status. I was told they would have to research that, and then per my request (they didn't offer to expedite), they'd expedite ship another controller, once they'd found out what happened. Still no controller. I called today, May 21, and got the same story, with no offer to expedite ship the controller. I said, enough is enough. Refund my money. Now I get to wait for an email from these people that they have refunded my $58. I am sure I will be calling back about that refund. What a pain. Game Stop customer service is horrible.
Preorder arrived 4 days late. Went to pick it up, they lost the preorder and had no more to offer. Told me to call customer service for a refund. Who told me to go to the store for the refund... who, well you get the picture.
Physical and phone customer service is terrible. Nobody wants to do their job. As an elite member I feel like I've just wasted money on that as I never want to do business with this company ever again.
Even walmart has better customer service.
Paid for standard shipping yet my order arrived 2 days earlier then was promised. I never have to wait more than a day for my order to be processed and ready to ship. The site itself is fairly easy to navigate though I do wish it had a dark mode. I've also noticed the shift away from strictly physical console games into digital games and PC parts. Very excited to see where Gamestop goes next. Overall, extremely satisfied.
It has been over a month and still no package or resolution to situation. My sister order me a surprise birthday gift, ordered it Feb 3, told her it would get to me by 18. We get a notice package delivered, wait the amount of time gamestop site says, no package. We both call, get two different stores and we are now in a libo of refund, replacement package is on way should be to you by end of day on 8th. I ordered a new mouse for my pc, it was free shipping over 60 dollars so that was cool. I normally dont pay for shipping because I am patient. Plot twist! No need for patience when the company kicks so much butt they send it 3 days early! Thanks duder
I used to think Gamestop was a dying company, but they have same day delivery using doordash, they have new board members, new CFO, I believe a new CEO soon. The gaming industry is going to see a new giant take over the market. In big ways
